GC PREPARES FOR NATIONWIDE TOUR UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT
[Tampa, FL] GC, which stands for God’s Chozen, is making preparations to go on tour to share their music with ministries and venues across the U.S. This highly anticipated news is a result of signing with veteran talent development manager, Joe T. Butler of Higher Standard Management Group.
This strategic move goes beyond a desire to perform in front of countless large audiences. It’s their opportunity to enlarge their platform in order to help break audiences from all forms of bondage, fear, anxiety, hurt, and pain. Davis states, “It is our goal that by the end of any appointment to sing, all who has heard our music will know that there is hope and that they can survive any turmoil occurring in their life.” Since the release of their debut cd, “Take Off Your Mask” in August of 2009, GC, under the leadership of Emile Davis, was able to acquire numerous ministry opportunities within their region. However through this alliance, the group is expected to increase their reach to countless people across the United States and beyond.
Those that are new to their music can expect to hear GC’s unique ability to fuse urban and traditional gospel with flavors of rock and pop. The ensemble manages to captivate audiences of all denominations and races through their distinct sound. In fact, it was because of the extraordinary ability to attract a wide range of people, that drew the attention of the nationally recognized Times Publishing Company as well as an urban radio station located in the Tampa Bay area. With the group’s notoriety increasing, Davis quickly recognized the need to partner up with someone experienced within the gospel music community. In seeking out the appropriate assistance in taking their message of God and His love to the masses, the group was able to successfully form a relationship with Joe Butler.
Joe, who has worked with the Kenoly Brothers, Ordained, and R. Anthony to name a few, is highly skilled in navigating the careers of various types of singers. His artists have shared the stage with Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Karen Clark, Reverend Timothy Wright, along with numerous other gospel greats. Joe states, “Emile and his group have a fresh and edgy, yet highly effective delivery. Audiences of all ages are able to relate to them, their lyrics and sound because of the transparency of their hearts off and on the stage.”
With their tour kicking off in Florida and Georgia, be sure to keep an eye out for GC within your city this year.
